How my style strategy fuels my workweek

By now you should know that I don’t really draw a line between visual pursuits: art, design, fashion. They share a lot in common, all equally as fun-serious-surprising-imaginative to explore; they all play with story, materiality, color, form, and remixing.

And, they are all about expression and communication. How do you treat yourself? And, what do you want to say to the world around you?

Getting dressed for a day at the studio is a part of this. It’s one factor that helps put me in the right frame of mind for the day. But just as important, it’s a broadcast: a subliminal tool for when I present to clients, or when I want to send a message to the studio.

So, I dress with a lot of intention, for myself and the day — and every day is different: at the studio, on-site visits, client presentations, trips to our warehouse, galleries, and whatever else is thrown my way.

But, let’s go through the week…
