Wearstlerworld,

"Pedal to the metal" is a favorite rallying cry in my studio—and at home. When a good idea strikes, there’s no time to drag your feet. Think fast, focus, get moving, and make it happen.

That’s why I took my whole industrial design team to Best in Low this week, an exhibition at the Petersen Automotive Museum celebrating low riders—those sleek, rebellious cars of low-slung swagger. When something inspires me, I want everyone to share in it. Plus, I love cars.

A big tip for running a creative business: regular field trips—and I knew this one would deliver. (I’d already been with my son Crosby, but this time I wanted to admire everything without chasing a toddler.)

These cars are impeccably detailed, boldly colorful, deeply personal, and an iconic part of Los Angeles culture. The show instantly sparked ideas for upcoming projects, creative direction, and today’s newsletter!
