PARIS: THE ART OF WORK AND PLAY
A few whirlwind days in restaurants, galleries, shops, and design discoveries
Wearstlerworld,
There’s so much I love about Paris—it’s a city of ideas, movement, and creative exchange. A place where work and inspiration blur in the best way.
What’s brought me here is work, studio visits, and fashion week. (And, of course, now it’s spring auction season—Piasa is just a block from my hotel.) The days are full, but my mornings are, as ever, non-negotiable—early starts, a workout, sauna, a quiet moment before stepping into the city’s energy. (I got the chance to visit an incredible members’ club for my exercise—more on that below.)
But before any of that: my triple macchiato, delivered to my room. In a hotel with great service (I’m at Le Bristol—which is celebrating its 100th), this small ritual feels like a true luxury. (I’ve also really loved stays at Le Meurice and the Château Voltaire.)
Today’s newsletter is a look inside my days here—some cornerstones of Paris—galleries, restaurants, wellness destinations. Plus, shops that do double or triple duty, as spas, bars, or just as really great new design inspirations. Plus, a seat at the Dior and Vaquera shows (my Fashion Week schedule is as my wardrobe: I like to mix the more up-and-coming with the more established). Let’s dive in.
