HOW TO KID AROUND: my way to a chic child's room
Elevated and playful furniture that can start young and last a lifetime, and three fantasy kid's bedroom mood boards
Wearstlerworld,
A child’s room is way more than just a place for them to sleep or play – it’s a space where they begin to explore who they are, what they love, and how they want to live in the world. It’s sort of magical, really.
It’s one of my favorite types of spaces to work on, and I wrote about a few strategies for creating ageless, personality-filled children’s spaces in the Financial Times this past weekend. But, because I’m in the middle of adding to Crosby’s room, I wanted to share with Wearstlerworld even more of my research: so here are all Crosby and my favorite pieces, a few of my studio’s projects, and three different full-room approaches to designing for the next generation.
