Why we should all be students again
Wearstlerworld,
Back to school isn’t only about Crosby’s first backpack — it’s Oliver and Elliott beginning a new school year, too. And in our family, that shift is felt everywhere: in the studio, in the wardrobe, even at the dinner table. Design doesn’t take a holiday in my world — it moves with me, shaping how we live and evolve together. Fall becomes a new syllabus: layering clothes, swapping lamps, changing sheets, new playlists, editing the rhythm of our days. It’s about curiosity, growth, and a little reinvention — for me it’s feeding my insatiable curiosity and learning along the way.
September asks us to be students again: of style, of culture, of family life, of the art of living beautifully and functionally.
Today, I want to talk about the autumn goals I’m setting, and how I’m achieving them – for me, and my family – as I expand my horizons, and get Crosby ready for a new school year. (Including Crosby’s first-ever fashion montage.)
